Oregi Restaurant @ Subang Jaya

Oregi, well known for their western and arabic cuisine is one of the more popular hang out spots among students, located very strategically in SS15. And if you're lucky enough to score a parking, do give them a visit!

Opens everyday from 6:00 pm to 2:30 am.

44, Jalan SS 15/4b, Ss 15, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia

Oregi's Signature Drink @RM3.90
A refreshing twist on the usual soda, it consists of a generous helping of mint leaves, soda and lime. And with no doubt leave you as fresh as a tube of toothpaste.

Beef Spaghetti Carbonara @RM11
A favorite among patrons, this creamy delight is of the perfect consistency and taste, topped off with slices of beef bacon. One has an option of beef or chicken. Recommended!

Spaghetti Bolognese with & w/o Meatballs.
Similarly with the Carbonara, the bolognese is also a huge hit. Flavors perfectly balanced, it isn't too sour nor is the sauce too dilute. And a few cherry tomatoes as the *cough* cherry on the cake.

with great surroundings.

Some of the pastries and juices they serve here.

Apple Crumble Bingsu @RM17.90

For such a large bowl, this bingsu is definitely worth the price!

Ichiban Ramen @ Sunway Pyrimid (28/08/15)

3, Jalan PJS 11/15, Bandar Sunway, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia

This is the Salmon Bento. Around RM23.90. One of the favorites on the menu.
Sticky japanese rice. Everyones favourite.
That salmon though. Savory sweet.
Tofu so soft and delicious. Goes well with the soy sauce.
And everyone  needs vegetables for that extra crunch.
Miso soup YUCK!!! just not my thing. could be yours we'd never know.
They even gives you watermelon slices.
So I had the Cold Green Soba with Tempura Prawns. I'm such a sucker for cold soba.
Presentation wise was average. for japanese food that is. Those guys just have the  best presentation. The cutest looking food.

The soba was a bit elastiky but the tempura prawns we ON POINT. Hot,crispy, delecious, perfect.

Was'nt cold enough though. Was a real letdown but then again you just can't be mad at soba. For RM18.90 I was satisfied.

I'd say it's pricey as food but affordable as japanese food because lets face it. Japanese food is just so expensive.

Tryst @ SS15 (25/08/15)

So our first visit wasn't that great but we decided to give it a second chance. Here's something            different .

So this is their Spaghetti Bolognese & Meatballs. Cost around RM12.00. Now this was nice. The meatballs were juicy, spaghetti was on point. None of that elasticky stuff but the sauce though. Sauce was to strong. For what your paying, We'd rate it a 8/10.
We also had this. The Grilled Chicken Breast with Brown sauce. Nothing special though but at only RM17.00 we were satisfied. Your average sauce, had vegetables, chicken was average. A bit tough though.

So the second visit was clearly better than the first. Do give it a try. expacially if your into those hipster cafes haha XD

Plan B @ Paradigm (25/8/2015)

Lot CF 09 Concourse Floor, Paradigm Mall,

No. 1, Jln SS 7/26A, Kelana Jaya 47301,
Petaling Jaya,

Opening hours from
Monday to Sunday
(10:00am - 10:00pm)

The Menu

So this was what we ate. The Spicy Aglio Olio Spaghettini. Cheapest main course on the menu at a reasonable RM16.00
For something with the world spicy in the name it's NOT spicy enough. Not spicy at all to be frank. would have been so much better if i had like 10 packs of those Dominos chili flakes haha XD
Taste nice but nothing special. Maybe a little above average though. Presentation was good. The colour of the peppercorns and chilli works well together.
Overall I'd rate it fairly average. It was'nt bad but i've tasted better.

It's HUGE!!! So this is their Traditional Nasi Lemak. One of their specialties. Better than the spaghetti though its not really fair to compare rice to pasta haha.

Taste good. The squid and sambal works well together and the "Keropok Ikan" was so nice and crispy. I only got one bite and was forced to "donate" the rest haha.

Taste good and for the portion your getting its so worth the money. Priced at RM26.00, but heck i'd order one again.

All and all Plan B is an expensive place. You wont be going all the time but when you do, you know what to order.

Village Park Restaurant @ Damansara (23/08/15)

5, Jalan SS21/37, Damansara Utama,47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Open from 7 am to 8pm daily,
7 am to 6 pm on Sunday/Public Holiday

Behold! Feast your eyes on Villege Park's very on Nasi Lemak Ayam. Its the ONLY thing you'd come here for. Its like the cheesy wedges of KFC. You just can't  not order it.

The fried chicken was amazing! Crispy on the outside soft on the inside. Taste superb. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water.

Sambal could have been spicier though. But that's because I just love spicy food. Nontheless, its a must try if nasi lemak Is on your list. If cholesterol is not a problem haha.

Priced at RM9.00, its a little expensive for nasi lemak but it is worth the price. One of the best nasi lemak I have ever eaten throughout my whole life =D

A Pie Thing @ Sunway (18/08/15)

 Selangor, Malaysia

Closed on Mondays
Tuesday to Thursday, Sunday
(4.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m.)
Friday and Saturday
(4.00 p.m. to 12.00 a.m.)

Look at em' smores. Gorgeous.

Simply delicious. Makes for a great dessert. For those people with a sweet tooth this is a must.

Crispy and yet it melts in your mouth. The chocolate harmonises perfectly with the marshmallows and its kept together in a chrispy shell.

Presentation, amazing. These guys really know how to make a first impression. The caramalised marshmallows looks so appetizing and the metal basket is a nice change compared to your average plastic tray.

Bottom line, it's just a pie thing.
For RM10.50 each, its so worth the money!
